Greece is full of culture, food, beaches and vistas and should be at the top of your travel bucket list…
One week in Greece will suffice if you want to do Santorini, Mykonos and a day or two in Athens, but we recommend staying a bit longer to explore more islands and the areas of Greece that are not well known to many travelers.
We happened to be in Greece near the end of August, which was surprisingly not busy and the weather was perfect. The beaches weren’t crowded and heading into Mykonos Town or Oia was not a tourist nightmare! We got lucky, and would definitely go back this time of year.
Our flight into Santorini was painless and getting to and from the islands via Ferry was simple. Make sure to buy your tickets beforehand, especially if going during the summer season! And if you get seasick, make sure to bring Dramamine to help you make it through the trip…we learned this the hard way!
Enjoy the gallery of our time in Oia, Santorini. Picturesque and magical, this place will not disappoint! You’ll have great Greek food, views of the town, niche shops with great finds, and amazing sunsets!
